On behalf of Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT), we are pleased to announce an upcoming business meeting and a one-day workshop for financial institutions on "Embracing Climate Risks and Opportunities in the Financial Sector in Uzbekistan". This meeting is part of the Chapter Zero Uzbekistan project, which will be held on the premises of WIUT.
The objective of this meeting is to provide financial sector experts with a platform to share their experiences and methodologies for banks to successfully transition to a green economy. We aim to facilitate a discussion on the climate practices of directors and officials within the financial sector, both locally in Uzbekistan and internationally. Additionally, there will be insights provided into the competitive and investment advantages associated with banks embracing a green economy.
